About Us

September 2008-

About 27 months ago two tiny little girls were brought to our foster home. They were 2 1/2 years and 2 days old. We were seeing the light at the end of the tunnel raising our 16 year old daughter. We adopted our daughter when she was 4 years old and our son was 20. She is now 18 and entering the Air Force.

On October 7, 2008 these little girls, now almost 5 and 2 years old will become our daughters legally. At 50 and 53 years old , our son now 33, a daughter 18, four grandchildren age 6 months to 7 years, we continue on with what will amount to our 3rd family.

Along the way we have acquired grey hair, weight, patience and the love of our wonderful, frustrating, funny, unique children. So a little slower, a little wiser and hopefully  a little better at parenting, we continue down the path that is our lives.

Being foster parents, adoptive parents and child advocates for more than 18 years, it was a natural progression that led to the start of this site and it's development. Our goal is to offer information and resources on many topics related to children. We hope to bring together resources that will help parents with whatever the current situation may be. We also intend to cover topics such as adoption and foster care.

You can find some items for children and books related to Adoption, Foster Care and Parenting in our store.
